Use Quality Products

Lesser quality hair products contain ingredients that are stripping and harsh on your new color. Avoid any Sulfate, Sodium Chloride and Sodium Hydroxide. These are added to “drugstore” products to act as fillers and aide in the “bubbly” lather. Those bubbles can take your vibrancy away very quickly.


UV rays and heat damage will dissolve any color molecules that you’ve worked so hard to keep. We recommend products that have integrated UV protection and heat protection before any hot tool, tanning, swimming, the beach, or any other magical outdoor adventures!

Please be flexible with your color decisions as each application may vary slightly. With many variables (products, porosity, water quality) the color can appear brighter, lighter or anything in-between. We do recommend refreshing your color on a regular basis to help alleviate dramatic shifts.


We stand behind all of the products we use and sell.  Retail products are 100% guaranteed against defects.  We will happily offer an exchange if a product you purchased does not work for you. 

Expect Some Changes

Chill out when you’re in the shower. Hot water opens the cuticle layer of the hair and allows the color to slip out. Not only will your color fade faster but with fashion colors, the chance of tub staining is higher. This is also the case for pillows and towels so try matching them to your new hair color. Shampooing less frequently will reduce the fading but condition everytime! Conditioner acts as a barrier and helps lock in those molecules.


Sadly, we aren’t magicians and we’re fresh out of fairy dust…. your color will fade gradually over a period of time. There’s nothing we can do to make   stay forever. We encourage you to express your inner rockstar and refresh new colors regularly.  This will give you the chance to experience all the wonderful flavors hair color has to offer. Here’s a sample of average longevity:


Pastels - about 2 to 4 weeks

Neons - about 3 to 5 weeks

Vibrant - about 4 to 6 weeks

Appointments

Please provide 24 hours notice if it is necessary to reschedule or cancel an appointment. In the event that you miss three appointments without contacting the salon 24 hours ahead of time,  we will only be able to serve you as a walk in client. 


We firmly believe in the value of your time and make a conscious effort to avoid long waiting periods in the salon. If you are more than 15 minutes late, we reserve the right to reschedule your appointment. If time is critical to your schedule on a particular day, please make us aware of your time constraint when scheduling your appointment. We will do our best to accommodate you.  You are responsible for your appointment regardless of whether a confirmation is received.


In the event of multiple no shows or late cancellations, we reserve the right to charge a non-refundable deposit for the upcoming appointment.  When you receive the service at that appointment the deposit will be applied.

Discuss, Relax, and Enjoy

Tell us everything! We ask crazy questions for a reason and your answers can make or break a good and simpler service. Don’t be too hasty to jump into your haircolor. As professionals, we are first focused on your hair’s health and integrity. Withholding past services could prevent us from making magic. It may take a few visits (with some awkward in-betweens) to fully blossom into your new look.


Not everyone sees a unicorn just walking down the street or getting groceries. Embrace the coloring process and take that time to relax while we do all the work.   It will take time to perfect your custom color so prepare to be with us for several hours  while we formulate and create.

Services

All fees for services rendered are expected upon completion of services. Credit for salon services is not an option, including postdated checks. Personal checks are not accepted.  We do welcome cash and all major credit cards.  Prices and services are subject to change without notice. 


Due to the artistic nature of our profession, we do not offer refunds on services performed.  If you are not completely satisfied with your service, please contact us within two days of your date of service so that we may remedy the situation.  A redo service may be complimentary; however, it must be consistent with the original style and/or color.  We will not honor redo or adjustment requests if the hair has been altered since the date of service.


We will be happy to adjust or tweak your haircut within one week of your date of service.

All redo and adjustment requests are at the sole discretion of management.  We cannot guarantee chemical services unless professional cleansing, conditioning, and styling products are used at home.  We will be happy to recommend products specific to your needs.

Minors and Animals

Children under the age of 18 are welcome while they are receiving services.  A parent or legal guardian must be present.  As a courtesy to other salon guests, and in our efforts to offer a relaxed and professional atmosphere it is your responsibility to watch your children at all times.
